The first section of Line 22 (from Panyu Square Station to Chentougang Station) commenced operation on March 31. With a total length of 30.8 kilometers, the section has 8 stations, including 4 transfer stations.
The project has overcome numerous challenges since its inception in April 2016, including complex geological conditions, high safety risks, and difficult construction, marking yet another milestone in China’s subway construction history.
To present fast and latest information announcements to large groups of people within the railway station, the digital, integrated and intelligent itc railway pa system is applied on the whole line of Guangzhou Metro Line 22.
The top-level railway pa system built for Guangzhou Metro Line 22 is a collection of independent broadcasting systems developed by itc over decades of technological innovation, R&D, and manufacturing with the goal of meeting the broadcasting requirements of metro, high-speed rail, light rail, and other rail transit application scenarios.
With the itc Z-DT network audio transmission technology, the system delivers professional-grade audio with an ultra-low delay within 5 milliseconds. It can fully adapt to the extremely complex network environment of the project and realize cross-platform docking.
itc railway pa system is centered on stable and convenient information guidance and aims to help improve passenger service and increase the efficiency of railway station operations.
In the access to the subway broadcasting system, wireless broadcasting equipment has been updated and added to realize the wireless speech of the station platform, station hall, vehicle control room, etc.
Forging ahead in the audiovisual industry for over 29 years, itc has won hundreds of industry qualification certifications and developed successful cases globally with rich experience in R&D and production.
In 2020, the group standard of “Technical Specifications for Metro Digital Broadcasting System” edited by itc was successfully announced on the national group standard information platform, which provided a guiding role for further improving the quality of subway services.
As a leader in the audiovisual industry, itc will continue to expand application scenarios including smart transportation and city, and help the smart upgrade of urban rail transit with future-proof overall solutions.
